Bay Area Houston - Movement Intensive

This past weekend, 35 disciple-makers from across Houston gathered for a two-day Movement Intensive focused on the Father’s Heart for the lost and practical pathways toward multiplying disciples and churches. Throughout the intensive, participants wrestled with a simple but powerful question: What needs to be done, and who do I need to raise up to see this happen? By the end of our time together, everyone left with clear next steps. Several participants identified specific people groups and communities they feel called to engage, including LGBTQ individuals, Muslims, specific neighborhoods and even a call to reach an entire city for Christ. Others developed practical plans for training and developing additional disciple-makers, strengthening elder development, and helping move existing ministry efforts toward multiplication. One of the most encouraging outcomes was the growing sense of shared burden across the network. Leaders discovered common vision, new partnerships were formed, and conversations emerged around how churches can work together rather than independently to reach more people with the gospel. There was a renewed desire to pursue simple, reproducible pathways that can lead to multiplying disciples, leaders, and churches.
